The digital twin turns telemetry into a picture of the floor as it is right now.
Core Capabilities
- Floor plan — draw the physical layout, place assets where they sit.
- Asset placement — drag machines onto the plan, link each to its data source.
- Status overlays — color each asset by running, idle, alarm, or down.
- Spatial analytics — heatmaps of downtime, congestion, and travel paths.
Building The Twin
- Import a CAD or PDF of the floor as the background.
- Drop asset nodes at their real positions.
- Bind each node to its MQTT topic or OpexMX asset ID.
- Apply a status rule (green running, amber idle, red alarm).
- Publish the view to supervisors and shift leads.
Tips
A twin that lies is worse than no twin. Bind only assets whose status you trust; leave the rest as static until they are wired.
