Audit Trails
An audit trail is the immutable record of who did what, and when, across OpexMX. When something goes wrong — or an auditor asks — it is the difference between an answer and a guess.
What Gets Recorded
- Who created, edited, or closed a record
- Exactly what changed, field by field
- The timestamp down to the second
- The source — web, mobile, API, or integration
Why Immutability Matters
A trail that can be edited is not a trail. OpexMX preserves the history so corrections appear as new events, not silent overwrites.
Using the Trail
- Investigate an incident — trace the sequence of actions
- Prepare for an audit — pull the history for a sample of records
- Resolve disputes — show what was approved and by whom
