Using the Mobile App

Maintenance does not happen at a desk. The OpexMX mobile app puts the work order in the technician's pocket — on the floor, in the plant, or out in the field.

Getting Started

1. Install the OpexMX app from the App Store or Google Play
2. Sign in with the same account you use on the web
3. Your assigned work orders sync automatically

The Field Technician Workflow

From the app a technician can:

• See the day's assigned work, sorted by priority and due date
• Open a work order, read the description, and view attached photos
• Update the status to In Progress when starting
• Log labor time and parts used
• Capture photos of the work as evidence
• Mark the work order Completed on the spot

Scanning Assets

Use the camera to scan a QR code or barcode on an asset to pull up its history, open work, and specs instantly — no typing, no lookup.

Working Offline

The app caches assigned work so technicians can keep going in areas with no signal. Changes sync back automatically once connectivity returns.

Tips

• Keep the app updated for the latest offline-sync improvements
• Encourage technicians to log parts and time in real time — it is more accurate than reconstructing it later
