Configuring Notifications
Set up alerts and notifications for your team.
Configuring Notifications
Good notifications keep the team responsive without drowning them in noise. OpexMX lets each person tune what they hear about and how.
Notification Channels
Alerts can be delivered through:
- Email — for summaries and non-urgent updates
- In-app — a bell icon for things to check when convenient
- Mobile push — for time-sensitive items that need attention now
What You Can Be Notified About
Common triggers:
- A work order is assigned to you
- A work order is due soon or overdue
- A work order's status changes
- A preventive maintenance task is coming due
- Inventory drops below its reorder point
Setting Your Preferences
Each user chooses their own channels and triggers in Settings → Notifications. Encourage the team to enable assignment and overdue alerts at a minimum — those are the ones that prevent missed SLAs.
Avoiding Notification Fatigue
Resist turning everything on. Too many alerts train people to ignore them. Stick to triggers that demand action; let the rest live in the in-app bell for when it is convenient to review.
